Abbé  --  Abbé is the French word for priest, minister etc.   In American traditional weddings,  he is commonly referred to as Reverend Robert. 

Abbé  Cote' (Reverend Robert) has been officiating weddings for about fourteen years.     Officially, he is an ordained minister with The Life Center Church, but is certainly not a minister in the traditional sense.   He neither preaches nor has a congregation and does not have a physical church.   Most of his ministry is in coaching, counseling, Theta Healing /Theta Transformation, and life-cycle ceremonies.

To use his words: “Sacred Mother Earth is my church, and the “Infinite Source of All” fills me with love, so I go where I’m called to go and do my work in the world.”

He is a Theta Healing - Theta Transformation Practitioner.     He has been a student of human potential and self-awareness for the past thirty years.   He is also trained as a mediator.  

As the officiant in a 21st-Century, Theta-Level Wedding Ceremony,  his approach to Divinity is not as a traditional minister, not as an outsider begging God for favors, but rather, in the form of a directive  (an invocation) by one who is consciously aware of himself as an intimate part of and a co-creator with God.

Wedding Ceremony Locations

Traditional Weddings:

Reverend Cote' is located in the Los Angeles California area.   Most of his traditional weddings (religious, spiritual, civil etc.) are officiated in Los Angeles County and Ventura County, California.  

21st-Century, Theta-Level, Wedding Ceremonies

Because the 21C-TLWCeremony  is unique,  nobody else is offering this same service.    Rev. Cote' still officiates most of 21C-TLWCeremonies in  the Los Angeles County and Ventura County, California, however, he will  travel to wherever brides and grooms ask him to go.

The Minister's Attire

It terms of wedding apparel, Rev. Robert will dress any way you choose.  Having done numerous theme weddings, in addition to suit and tie, and the minister's robe (seen below) he's worn numerous costumes such a casual Hawaiian, western attire,  and a pirate costume.   For a Halloween wedding, one bride and groom sent him to a Hollywood make-up artist to to be be made up and dressed as a dead monk.

At a home wedding in Thousand Oaks, California, and as a joke on the wedding guests, the bride and groom asked him to start the ceremony dressed as a religious cardinal, like the officiant in the film, Princess Bride, and to talk in the same weird voice as the actor did in that film.    He started the Ceremony and the guests sat open mouthed in disbelief until Rev. Robert announced that he had to leave to get the wedding rings.   He returned in about three minutes, wearing his off-white minister's robe and officiated a normal wedding ceremony.

What Is The Life Center?

The Life Center is a California-based, non-profit, church corporation set up by Reverend Coté for the purpose of assisting people as they step out of  limited and antiquated, religious belief systems and into Spiritual Awareness.^°   We follow the philosophy that all religions have  portions of the truth, but that none have either all the truth nor exclusive access to the truth.    We also support the rights and the freedom of those who choose to refrain from expressing any religious beliefs.

We have no physical church.   Neither do we have a congregation nor do we preach any specific belief system.   The  Life  Center is  a church without walls.   It's in our hearts and on the soles of our feet.   That is, we do our work in the world.   We go wherever we're called to go.   

We specialize in Healing, Coaching, Counseling  using  Theta healing / Theta Transformation technology.   We also create and officiate personalize life-cycle ceremonies such as weddings and officiate them  at any location that the bride and groom choose.   

As a function of our life coaching, we teach others how to apply practical spiritual principles to their  moment-by-moment, everyday lives.   We teach people how to connect with their inner Divine Essence  so they can, on their own, connect to "God"  and live by the guidance and wisdom that comes directly to them as a result of that connection.  

By utilizing practical, applied, real-life spirituality, we are able to view our lives in an expanded context, and thus, relate to the external world as individual, Divine expressions of our Eternal-Selves.  Our purpose is to assist each other in aligning our consciousness to “The Highest Essence of All That Is.”

    To regularly manifest grander and grander expressions of who we choose to be,

    Creating the greatest love, the greatest joy, and the greatest freedom for ourselves and for the greatest number of others.   

     Being positive or neutral in our effect on ourselves, on others and on our environment.

    Taking actions that maximize love, care, and compassion for ourselves and for all others while minimizing the costs in time, money, resources, effort, and physical and emotional pain.   

    Serving ourselves and our fellow God-Beings to the best of our ability.
